ABOUT THE PANELISTS

 

Eric Liu, MD, FACS
Dr. Eric Liu is a renowned surgeon specializing in neuroendocrine disease and the co-founder of the Healing NET Foundation. He established the first U.S. clinical trial for the Gallium 68 PET scan to diagnose neuroendocrine tumors and trained at the world-leading Neuroendocrine Center of Excellence in Sweden. Dr. Liu lectures nationwide and co-founded The Neuroendocrine Institute at Rocky Mountain Cancer Centers in Denver. A Harvard and Columbia alumnus, he has earned numerous accolades, including the National Cancer Institute’s Paul Calabresi Award for Clinical Oncology.

 

Seth David, Certified Adult Sleep Coach

Seth Davis is a Certified Adult Sleep Coach and the founder of Sleepably, a team of sleep coaches who help adults and children sleep better. He works with clients worldwide to create personalized plans for overcoming their sleep issues and optimizing their sleep so they can feel and perform better daily.

 

Erin Baurle, PsyD

Dr. Erin Baurle is an Associate Professor in Medical Oncology at the University of Colorado School of Medicine and Medical Director of the Oncology Counseling service line. She has worked with individuals facing cancer since 2013 and co-directs a Fellowship in Psychosocial Oncology.

 

Benjamin W. Brewer, PsyD

Benjamin W. Brewer, PsyD, is an Associate Professor of Medicine at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus and is the Director of Clinical Psychology and Counseling for the Division of Hematology. He is a clinical health psychologist with expertise in providing evidence-based psychological intervention and assessment to oncology patients. Brewer is an expert in the clinical treatment of insomnia in the context of cancer and cancer survivorship and has a research and clinical program in the use of telehealth and mobile health applications to provide augmented therapy enhancement for oncology patients and their caregivers. He is a full member of the University of Colorado Cancer Center.
