Eric Liu, MD, FACS

Dr. Eric Liu is a renowned surgeon specializing in neuroendocrine disease and the co-founder of the Healing NET Foundation. He established the first U.S. clinical trial for the Gallium 68 PET scan to diagnose neuroendocrine tumors and trained at the world-leading Neuroendocrine Center of Excellence in Sweden. Dr. Liu lectures nationwide and specializes in treating neuroendocrine cancers and performing advanced abdominal surgeries at the Intermountain Health Cancer Center – Saint Joseph. A Harvard and Columbia alumnus, he has earned numerous accolades, including the National Cancer Institute’s Paul Calabresi Award for Clinical Oncology.

 Amr Mohamed, MD

Amr Mohamed, MD, is a board-certified medical oncologist and internal medicine specialist at UH Seidman Cancer Center and an associate professor of gastrointestinal medical oncology and neuroendocrine tumors at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine. His special clinical interests include the management of gastrointestinal and neuroendocrine malignancies.

Since joining University Hospitals, Dr. Mohamed has created a comprehensive neuroendocrine tumors program at UH Seidman Cancer Center, which now has more than ten neuroendocrine tumor (NET) experts from different subspecialties. He currently serves as director of the program.

Dr. Mohamed received his medical doctorate from the Cairo University School of Medicine in 2007 followed by three years of internal medicine training at Ministry of Health affiliated hospitals. He then came to the United States to complete a research fellowship at Emory University School of Medicine, after which he finished his internal medicine training at Morehouse School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia. He went on to complete a fellowship in medical oncology at the Karmanos Cancer Institute at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan, followed by an instructorship year in neuroendocrine tumors and GI malignancies at the Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa, Florida.

An active member of numerous medical societies, Dr. Mohamed also serves on the educational committee of the North American Neuroendocrine Tumors Society (NANETs). He has authored many peer-reviewed papers and received two merit awards from the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO).

JoAnn Lavrisha, PT, DPT, NBC-HWC

JoAnn Lavrisha, PT, DPT, NBC-HWC, is a physical therapist and National Board-Certified Health and Wellness Coach with more than 30 years of experience helping individuals improve movement, function, health, and quality of life. Her approach to care is integrative and patient-centered, incorporating physical health, lifestyle behaviors, stress management, motivation, and the social factors that influence well-being.

Since 2008, she has practiced as a Physical Therapist and Clinical Specialist with University Hospitals, where she works with adults experiencing complex medical conditions, chronic disease, musculoskeletal challenges, balance concerns, and fall risk. She has a particular passion for healthy aging, fall prevention, exercise, and helping people develop sustainable lifestyle strategies that support their health goals.

Her professional experience extends beyond clinical care into health education, coaching, program development, and interdisciplinary collaboration. She has been involved with the Age Well Be Well program at University Hospitals, designed to help older adults enhance their quality of life through exercise, social connection, and health education. She also collaborated with The Gathering Place in the development and supervision of Revive, a cancer survivorship and wellness program incorporating lifestyle management strategies.

Her certifications include Health and Well-Being Coaching, Basic Skills in Lifestyle Medicine, Exercise Expertise for the Aging Adult, and Fall Prevention Specialist. She is passionate about helping people move beyond simply managing illness toward finding realistic, meaningful ways to sleep, eat, exercise, and nurture their spirit—while recognizing that wellness looks different for every individual.

Outside of her professional life, JoAnn is the proud mom of three amazing young adult sons and a newly minted grandmother to—yes, you guessed it—a grandson! She and her husband enjoy spending their free time exploring wineries, hiking, and discovering new adventures together.

She also dabbles in ceramics and hopes to one day join the family for some golf outings. She is honored to join the SEES Symposium and The Healing Net Foundation in supporting individuals and caregivers living with neuroendocrine cancer through conversations that celebrate whole-person wellness, resilience, and quality of life.

Sarah Radke, BS, BA, RD

Sarah Radke, BS, BA, RD, is a Registered Dietitian with 10 years of experience specializing in telehealth medical nutrition therapy at Nourish. Grounded in both nutritional science and psychology, her practice focuses on gut health, intuitive eating, and specialized food modifications. Having navigated her own neuroendocrine cancer diagnosis for the past 18 years, Sarah brings an extraordinary level of insight into the clinical and personal complexities of oncology nutrition, helping patients and providers navigate the unique dietary challenges of the disease with empathy and evidence-based care.

Dr. Natalie Sydorenko

Dr. Natalie Sydorenko holds a PhD from Purdue University in Communication and Rhetoric and taught in Higher Education for nearly three decades. Currently, Natalie is a Yoga & Meditation Instructor, a Reiki Master, and a Certified Celebrant, providing her wellness services to individuals, private groups, athletic teams, and organizations.

Natalie works at Roots Yoga & Barre in Wadsworth, Ohio and at Stewart’s Caring Place, a nonprofit cancer wellness center, in Copley, Ohio, providing Reiki treatments, Yoga Classes, Yoga Therapy, and Guided Meditations to both cancer patients and their families and caregivers. She also see private clients in her home through her personal business, frequencies with Natalie, which offers these same modalities and more. She resides in Wadsworth, OH with her husband and two adult children.

Eric Yeh, MD

Dr. Eric Yeh is a board-certified Sleep Medicine physician at Cleveland Clinic’s Sleep Disorders Center, where he also serves as Medical Director of Continuous Improvement. He is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine. Dr. Yeh completed his medical training at Peking University Health Science Center, followed by residency in Family Medicine and fellowship training in Sleep Medicine at University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center. He specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of sleep disorders, including sleep apnea, insomnia, and other conditions that can interfere with restorative sleep. His clinical interests include the important relationship between sleep and overall health, particularly for people living with chronic medical conditions. Dr. Yeh is passionate about helping patients understand the role sleep plays in healing, resilience, and quality of life, and about providing practical, evidence-based strategies that patients can incorporate into their everyday lives.
